About Dr. Ian Traill

Dr. Ian Traill retired missionary to China where he has been for more than 18 years. Previously he had planted a Church in Daylesford, Victoria, Australia and now he is involved in planting Churches in China and developing Traillblazer, Tony Smits Bible College throughout the nation. Arriving in August 2000 to take up a position teaching English at Universities and Colleges, working as a "tentmakers" ministry, he has been conducting Bible classes and training people in the area of leadership with the view of them starting their own home church. Ian has a strong desire to bring teaching to the people, thus he has written many books. A missionary is one who is sent to cross over geographic and cross-cultural boundaries to plant the Word of God and a local church, thus establishing God’s culture in a new location. The Gospel of John clearly portrays Jesus as fulfilling the ministry of a missionary sent from God (John 3:17-34, 4:34, 5:23, 5:36-38, 6:29-57, 7:16-33, 8:16-42, 9:4, 10:36, 11:42, 12:44-49, and13:20). Jesus Christ came as a missionary to this world to save us, but non-Christians reading His story in a newspaper at that time, would say that He was a failure. We, of course, are aware He did not fail. It is because of His mission that we are here today, and it was through someone else that we heard about Jesus too. Faith comes by hearing the Word, but if there is no preacher how can people hear? So we are going to all nations.

GIVE A SHIRT MAKES A DIFFERENCE

I still remember the first time I received a Samaritan’s purse from church. It was a beautiful blue box wrapped up like a Christmas gift. I opened the box and I saw so many cool things. Dolls, pens, books, photo albums and so much my little brain could not memorize them all. Inside the photo album was an old ladies picture. I could not understand everything she wrote but she said “with love” .At the bottom a name I cannot remember. There was a picture by the side and I wondered will I ever meet this kind old lady who took her time to give me a gift. Her beautiful white hair and kind smile are still in my head like it was yesterday and my prayer is that one day I will meet her. If I do not meet her on earth it will hopefully be in heaven. That gift changed my life. At 10 years old it gave me desire to study hard, go abroad and see if I could meet this old woman and say thank you. The gift also taught me about love and friendship. A little gift can touch someone’s heart. The fact that a nice old lady took her time to show love to a little African girl in Zambia changed my view on what it means to give. Every day I wonder what she would say if we met and I told her the little girl who received your gift has never forgotten about you. My prayer is that may God keep blessing that old lady and her family.

“GIVE A SHIRT MAKES A DIFFERENCE” project is based on such small but beautiful stories. In this project our aim is to send clothes to children in Africa. It is our vision that one day we will be able to send to more African countries and make a difference in children’s lives. Feel free to join us in this project. You can give a pair of socks, a shirt or simply a small contribution so that we can send clothes to the beautiful children.
Currently we have clothes to send to our school in Uganda. Help with a small gift of support. If you want to learn more about the project feel free to email
May God bless you .

Christian volunteers needed in China – July 2016

Can you believe this is happening here in China?

Hello friends, supporters, pastors and church leaders, we are looking for some English speaking Christian volunteers to come to China in July 2016 for 1 to 3 weeks.

You will work with a Chinese teacher teaching English in our home training schools to Primary and Middle school Kids.

We have training schools in many places all over China now with 7000 kids.

All cost to get here and a accommodation need to be met by you. But in some cases we could have some accommodation.

BUT, please before you say yes!

If you believe that body piercing and tattooing is acceptable, please do not request to help, although if you are remorseful about getting tattoos and you have removed all the piercing from noses, chick, eyes and etc; feel free to offer. The Latin word for “tattoo” is stigma.

We should not get tattoos as it does defile the temple and the safety of getting them is also tempting God to heal us if we get sick. Poison in will destroy the body. People have died from tattoos. We do not need a graven image of Christ on our bodies as He dwells within. Further to this it is commanded that we are not to get tattoos and body piercing .

As it is with all sin it will come down to the condition of the heart. A remorseful heart is an  attitude that hates sin.

We are trying to protect the impressionable children here. In this culture these things are related to the underworld.

We would also like you to have your pastors endorsement.
