Actions of a faithful servant

God moves through faith and through the faithful steward. God welcomes the faithful servant into heaven with these words “enter in good and faithful servant”.

Matthew 25: 21″His master replied, `Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’:22 “The man with the two talents also came. `Master,’ he said, `you entrusted me with two talents; see, I have gained two more.’ 23 “His master replied, `Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ (NIV)

God responds, as I have stated, to faithfulness in his stewards, but what makes a faithful servant?

The practical steps of a faithful servant

Matthew 7:23 – You don’t want to hear this

Matthew 25:14 -30 – Which one do you want to be?

Acts 14:8-28 – We should learn from Paul and Barnabas what a faithful servant of Christ, will face and the cost

What is it that I must do to be a faithful servant?

A faithful servant:

  1. Will point people to Jesus the living God

2.     Gives glory to God for what God has done in him or her; and what God doing through him or her.

3.     Perseveres with proclaiming the Gospel in spite of persecution

4.     When trials in the Christian life come upon others, he or she will encourage and strengthen the brethren

5.     Is a supporter of Godly leadership, by showing accountability, responsibility and submissive to the vision and the leadership

6.     Is one who is a disciple of a mentor and makes disciples of others

7.     Takes time to spend with the Lord in Prayer.

You can do it I believe in you and Jesus does too.
